When you use the Service, you may upload legal documents including case files, pleadings, motions, and briefs ("User Content"). We process User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
We collect basic usage data such as pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the Service.
Each firm's data is stored in a private, isolated environment. Your uploaded documents and generated voice profiles are never shared with other firms, combined with other users' data, or used to train any AI model.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Note: We have not completed SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent third-party security certifications at this time. We are an early-stage product and are transparent about where we are in our security maturity. If your firm requires specific compliance certifications, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
We retain your User Content only for as long as your account is active and you maintain the files in the Service. When you delete a file, all associated data (extracted text, profile contributions, and generated outputs derived from that file) is permanently purged from our systems.
If you cancel your account, all your data is permanently deleted. We do not retain copies of your User Content after account cancellation.
The Service uses third-party AI models (such as Anthropic's Claude) to process your documents and generate drafts. When your documents are sent to these providers for processing:

LegallyLite is an AI-assisted drafting tool. It does not provide legal advice, does not establish an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a licensed attorney. All AI-generated output must be reviewed by a qualified attorney before filing, client reliance, or any legal use.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date.
